Role: Concept and Co-Writer with Brian Walsh, Producer
Madam Trashy are an eclectic stoner rock group that I worked with on a music video for their new single, Book of Dead. Along with a very talented director, Brian Walsh, I created the concept for the video, co-wrote the script and produced the resulting video. It meant organising locations, costumes, equipment, sourcing crew, creating time schedules and managing budgets. We shot the whole thing in a weekend in and around Greenpoint.
This was my first music video, I have to say I love it. I think it gets the personality of the band, their strange and almost hallucinogenically sexual personality across in a way that fits the song nicely. Our main focus was to make something that was gritty and captured the feeling of the morning after a one night stand I feel like we got that perfectly.
I look forward to working on future projects with both Brian and the band.
