So, last night I went to see the Swedish band Little Dragon in the Williamsburg Music Hall and I must say it was just delightful. The crowd was delightful. The music was delightful. The conversation was delightful. The 8 dollar beers were delightful. But what was REALLY delightful, was the lead singer’s awesome dance moves.
I really don’t know how to review this as to be honest, I’ve had a long day and I kind of just want to phone this in. I realise that this might be an incredibly insensitive move on my part, given your high expectation of the dedication at the heart of this blog but I ask your tolerance. Rome wasn’t built in a day. This Blog will have its peaks of ecstasy and troughs of despair. So. I’ll just say that it was fun and I enjoyed m’self and I recommend you go forth and hit that shit if you get the opportunity to do so. The music was awesome but you could tell that they were kind of stretching their set as certain tunes went on like WAAAY too long. It was beautiful to look at but at certain points I was like “Yawn”.
Kind of like Sweden itself actually.*
*Sorry Swedes. Or Swede. Probably only one of you actually reads this.
